The Transition to Glass and Wood Products
It has been a process, transitioning from using almost all plastic wear to glass and wood products. To say the least we still are in the transition, but wanted to talk about the importance of this. Plastic holds a number of toxic chemicals including elements of led and mercury. In high temperatures it can contaminate your water and food that is stored in these plastic containers. Also, plastic has no way to decompose and is a terrible recourse to our earth. These chemicals can cause infertility, brain damage, cancer and many more defects.
Products made from wood and glass are from natural fibers and will never contaminate your food or water. As a mother and pregnant at the moment I’m starting to be more aware of what we are putting in our body.
Here are some biodegradable scrub brushes I’ve started to use!
Mason Jars have been a must at our household to store left overs, even use as despisers for soap and hygiene products.
All 100% recyclable and green.
